"Welcome to Waterstock Ladies Section"
We are a small but very friendly club with lady members of all abilities and handicaps ranging from 13 to 36. We offer opportunities for you to gain your initial handicap, to play in order to lower that handicap, to learn about the rules and etiquette of golf, to play in competitions and matches, to play social golf, but above all to ENJOY the game.
Our Ladies days are Tuesday and Thursday, meeting from 9.00am for ‘tee off’ times from 9.30am. On Saturdays we meet much earlier at 7.45am for an 8.10am tee off time. Seven day members can, of course, play at any time during the week.
We hold Nine-Hole Friendlies once a month from April to September on a Friday evening at 5pm. These are open to non-members, who are thinking of joining our club and who would like to experience golf with Waterstock Ladies.
Our Lady Captain for 2009-2010 is Pauline Swan (Pictured). She is supported by a small committee including a Handicap secretary.
Throughout the year there are a number of opportunities to play in competitions and friendly matches, against local clubs, arranged by our Fixtures secretary.
Our golfing calendar is very full. Here are some examples of the matches that you could enter as a member;
Captain’s Drive In, Captain’s Day, 12 Friendlies against other clubs,
Ladies v. Seniors Challenge Trophy, Golf Union Medals, All day Stableford,
Club Championship, played over two days, SSAFA, Ladies Open, Ladies Pairs Open, Captain’s Salver
